PlayerTicker · Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective September 27, 2026
This policy describes how PlayerTicker handles information when you visit or use the PlayerTicker website and product features.
1. Information this service handles
If you create an account, PlayerTicker handles the email address and account credentials needed for sign-in, along with profile details you choose to provide, such as a username. Authentication is provided through Supabase. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider; PlayerTicker does not display your password.
When you use account features, the service may store information you submit or create, including saved preferences, portfolio or watchlist selections, trade proposals, community votes, and other product activity tied to your account. Some account activity is recorded in PlayerTicker’s database to operate and improve the product.
If you enable SMS alerts and provide a phone number, that number and your alert preference may be used to send those alerts through Twilio when the feature is configured. Do not provide a phone number unless you want this feature.
The service also receives technical and usage information needed to deliver pages, maintain sessions, protect accounts, diagnose failures, and understand site use. Vercel Analytics runs in production. Cloudflare Turnstile may be loaded on account forms when bot protection is configured.
2. Sports and market information
PlayerTicker displays sports statistics, schedules, valuations, market activity, and other information assembled from product databases and data sources. Information about players, teams, games, or markets is not necessarily information about you. The service may keep records of your interactions with that information when you use account features.
3. Cookies and browser storage
Authentication and session cookies are used to keep you signed in and protect account flows. The site may also use browser storage, such as local storage or session storage, for product preferences or temporary interface state. Vercel Analytics may use technologies needed to provide its analytics service. Your browser controls can limit cookies or storage, but some account features may then stop working.
4. Service providers and sharing
PlayerTicker uses service providers to operate the product, including Supabase for authentication and data services, Stripe for payment processing, Vercel for hosting and production analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot checks when enabled, and Twilio for SMS alerts when enabled. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and under their own terms and privacy practices.
PlayerTicker does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when needed to operate the service, protect users or the service, respond to valid legal requests, or complete a business transfer. Public contributions, such as community votes or trade proposals, may be visible to other users depending on the feature.
5. Retention and security
Information is kept while needed to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the product. The project does not state a fixed retention period for every data type. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
6. Your choices and requests
You can choose what profile details and optional product contributions to provide. You can stop using the service and manage available account or alert settings in the product. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to applicable requirements and records that must be retained. The project has not published a dedicated privacy contact or legal entity; no address or email is stated here.
7. Children and international use
PlayerTicker is not intended for children under 13, and the service does not knowingly seek to collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, stop their use of the service and use any available account support channel to request review.
The service and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Privacy protections may differ between locations.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the product or its providers change. The date below identifies the latest implementation of this page. Material changes should be reflected in an updated policy.
